Both options are effective. Braces are ideal for complex cases, while clear aligners offer a more discreet, removable solution for mild to moderate alignment issues. Your orthodontist will help determine the best fit for you.
Some discomfort or soreness is normal after adjustments or when starting treatment, but it usually subsides quickly. Many patients find the process manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.
Good oral hygiene is essential. Brush and floss regularly, avoid sticky or hard foods that can damage appliances, and attend all scheduled orthodontic appointments to keep treatment on track.
Absolutely! Orthodontic treatment is effective at any age. Many adults choose braces or clear aligners to improve their smile and oral health.
